When the Assistant Director gives the instruction to roll sound, the Sound Mixer will roll the audio recorder and confirm that action by announcing 'sound speed'. This acts as a trigger to inform all on set cast and crew, that we are good to go for a take. The camera department will then roll the cameras....and so we begin.
